Arlington-Belmont Crew is a 501c(3) not-for-profit and receives no financial support from either school or town. We cover all expenses through fees and donations from generous supporters. Our parents, extended families, alumni, community members and local businesses come together to support our athletes. The per season operating budget to pay for coaches, team travel, training, race fees, scholarships, and equipment repair exceeds $100,000.
The club strives to have athlete dues cover 100% of operating expenses, but we also do a number of fundraising events to ensure the club stays financially healthy and to invest in new equipment (boats, oars, ergs).
Fundraising events are also a way to engage a larger community of friends to support the team’s efforts to fulfill its mission.
The organization runs two large annual fundraising events, one in the Fall and one in the Spring.
